THE LADIES
BRITTANY JOHNSON
Matron of Honor Brittany and Elizabeth met in elementary school and became best friends during junior high. Brittany knows Elizabeth better than anyone, and Elizabeth can talk to Brittany about anything, which makes sense because they have known each other for over 16 years. They are so close they jokingly refer to each other as “soul mate.” Brittany is always supportive, and even if she doesn't completely agree with Elizabeth’s decisions she doesn't let that prevent her from being 100% loyal. Elizabeth can always count on Brittany for honesty and to know just the right thing to say to make her laugh. The two have grown up, and now expect to grow old together. KAILEE BENNETT
Matron of Honor Elizabeth and Kailee became BEST FRIENDS their Freshman year at FC. At first glance they appeared to be opposites as Kailee moved in wearing an adorable skirt and looking like a model while Elizabeth moved in wearing gym shorts without showering. Elizabeth’s mom even said that she didn’t foresee the two girls being friends. Kailee however soon became one of Elizabeth’s very best friends and remains one to this day. Kailee encourages/forces Elizabeth to be rational, always provides sound advice, is the creative genius behind Elizabeth’s wedding website, invitations and save the dates and is one of the funniest, most clever people in Elizabeth’s life. ELAINE THRELKEL
Maid of Honor Elaine and Elizabeth were destined to become best friends and they have several things in common, down to picking the same dress for their respective high school graduations before they had even met their freshman year at FC. The two have always gotten along and understood each other perfectly, except for one incident that occurred in a liquor store in Panama City that was soon forgiven. Elizabeth relies on Elaine as her shoulder to cry on as Elaine is a perfect listener and not afraid to deliver some tough love. She is also extremely kind yet fearless in defending the people that she loves--luckily John never had to feel her wrath. SARAH MOSCATO-GOODPASTER (MG)
Bridesmaid MG and Elizabeth became friends when they both joined Zeta Tau Alpha their freshman year of college. Their stint as roommates resulted in an extremely messy room and some really moldy bagels, but they remained good friends from the experience. MG is one of the most intelligent, worldly people that Elizabeth is privileged to know, and Elizabeth loves to learn all she can from her. MG is now a gifted hair stylist and makes Elizabeth’s hair look beautiful while allowing the two time to catch up on everything going on in their lives. Elizabeth is lucky to have such a talented friend! CARRIE BALLARD
Bridesmaid Carrie and Elizabeth met through John when Elizabeth and John first started dating. Over the years Carrie has become one of Elizabeth’s closest friends, and someone who Elizabeth greatly admires. Carrie is a couple of years older than Elizabeth, and once told her that if they had been in elementary school at the same time, Carrie would not have been her friend due to the age difference. Elizabeth is thankful that they met after elementary school so that Carrie doesn't have to be embarrassed of their age difference. Elizabeth loves Carrie’s event planning skills and her creativity. They have had countless fun experiences together over the past five years, and Elizabeth looks forward to many more with her. EMILY RUCH
Bridesmaid Emily Ruch and Elizabeth met their freshman year of college when they both joined Zeta Tau Alpha. They were friends throughout their time at Franklin, but became a lot closer after a random trip to Nashville, Tennessee their senior year. Since that initial trip, they have made many road trips together to Nashville and Bloomington to visit friends (along with EJ). Elizabeth admires Ruch’s fearless spirit and her willingness to try new things without hesitation. EMILY JONES (EJ) Bridesmaid EJ and Elizabeth became friends their sophomore year at Franklin when Emily joined ZTA and the two started having Accounting classes together. They lived together their senior year and carpooled to Indianapolis the summer before for internships, and they became even closer. Along with Emily Ruch, the three E’s spend a lot of their free time together, from weekend road trips to concerts to dinners. Elizabeth depends on Emily for fashion advice and as a voice of reason, and she appreciates that Emily always forgives her for constantly running late. |
